The Blog
We have always been passionate about disseminating good content in a FREE and convenient way, whether through our Journal, eZine, online library, or other publications. AIPC’s Counselling Connection is the latest addition in our mission to educate counsellors, students and counselling enthusiasts.
The Counselling Connection Blog was designed to enhance communication with you and to encourage networking between industry participants. How? Each section contains up-to-date content that is highly relevant to anyone involved with the counselling industry.
The content is reviewed weekly and updated by a dynamic Support Team (which you will get to know very well). Whilst the content is constantly updated, readers will be able to write comments and discuss current counselling issues with each other using the Blog as a platform. It’s a great platform to share professional know-how and learn with others.

The Support Team category introduces each member of our highly qualified and friendly team. It’s your entry to the Institute’s backstage! Case Studies contain snippets of our professionally written case studies: you can discuss and suggest approaches in each case study, and/or submit your own case studies for review (and possibly gain huge exposure in the industry).
Counselling Dilemmas is a sub-category of Case Studies, containing dilemmas that illustrate common and challenging counselling scenarios, along with comments from practicing and experienced counsellors, psychologists and mental health professionals.
The Development Centre category provides one of the most flexible and responsive professional development environments on the web: from business tips to counselling skills, this section will be bombarded with great content for practicing and aspiring counsellors.
Special Reports is a sub-category which contains very special posts by the Institute’s specialist contributors. Book Reviews is another sub-category which showcases a range of counselling and mental health-related publications, along with professionally-written reviews and other information.
Real Life Stories is our motivational section with dozens of real testimonials from counsellors who have studied with the Institute (and some of the stories have excellent tips for aspiring counsellors). And finally, Life Coping Skills will give you an insight into our highly in demand Life Effectiveness Guides – AIPC’s suite of publications designed to vastly improve your lifestyle by providing professional tips on how to cope with a wide array of life challenges.
