Great Resources to Your Right
Yes, that’s right!
We have been slowly adding new resources to the right-side column of this Blog. Whilst we will continue to insert new resources as the Blog expands, you can already take advantage of a range of links, downloads, references and tools. Here’s a quick overview:
At the top section, you can subscribe to our free online newsletter, Australia’s most popular counselling eZine with over 15,000 subscribers. As you move down, you will find the Blog Notifications registration box: by adding your email, you will receive a notification each time a new post is published.
Below this area are banners linking to several educational products, including the Diploma of Professional Counselling, Life Effectiveness Guides, Therapy Videos and the Institute’s Article Library. The last banner is the Blog’s Tell-A-Friend mechanism: enter your name, your friend’s name and email; and he or she will receive a simple invitation to check the Counselling Connection out. It’s all about sharing!
Right below is our Search Box: type in any keyword and all related posts will be listed on the left-side column (simple and practical). As we reach our link categories, you’ll run into the Blog’s Archives (a collection of posts, separated by month); the Course Information section (all you need to know about the Institute’s programs, including the Diploma, the Bachelor and the Vocational Graduate Certificate and Diploma).
Under the ePublications link category are two editions of our exclusive journal and three eBooks, all available for free downloading. The Favourite Blogs, Valuable Links and Valuable Resources categories provide a range of websites and resources which are highly rated by the Blog Team: including links to major counselling associations such as the ACA (AUS), BACP (UK), ACA (US) and CCACC (CAN), and industry-related portals such as CounsellorJOBS (mental health jobs) and Counselling Academy (Professional Development courses)
Last but definitely not least, is our most recently-added link category: Videos. By clicking on these links you can access previews (about 5min each) of AIPC’s highly popular Counselling Therapies Videos. Each of these videos incorporates a role play demonstrating the key techniques of a mainstream counselling therapy (the full versions of these videos are available for purchase at a very low cost and delivered via webstream).
