Quick Review

News and Updates

November is almost here and what a year it has been. Have you been keeping an eye on our latest posts? Here’s a quick review of what is happening at the Blog and the Institute:

eBook Fest! We’ve just released our third eBook for the year, AIPC’s Five Therapies, and already over 12,000 people have downloaded a copy. This publication offers a comprehensive overview of five mainstream counselling therapies - Behaviour, CBT, Person-Centred, Solution-Focused and Gestalt – produced by a team of counsellors, psychologists and educators. If you haven’t retrieved your copy of this resource yet, simply click here to download. To access all AIPC eBooks, check out the ‘eBooks’ link category on the right-side column of this Blog.

Inbrief x64! Our fortnightly eZine reaches its 64th edition with more great free content to subscribers. If you are not a subscriber yet, do not wait any longer – visit www.aipc.net.au/eZine and get address in our mailing list.

Are You Coping? Our latest post series at the ‘Life Coping Skills’ category deals with a common issue in today’s world: workplace harassment. Check out the latest posts in this category, including two case studies, to understand this problem and develop effective skills to deal with it yourself, or help others.

Our First Anniversary! In January, Counselling Connection will complete its first year. We’ve already started to plan a nice way to commemorate this date with you. Keep an eye on this section for further updates (nice surprises for our valued readers!).

Professional Counsellor Journal! The 4th and last edition of the year has a very interesting theme (yeah, it is a surprise). We’re on the lookout for contributors interested in writing an article, commenting on social issues, responding to a counselling dilemma, and more. To find out more about this opportunity (including how your business could be advertised for free to over 20,000 industry participants), simply email editor@aipc.net.au and indicate how you would like to contribute.

That’s it for now. Don’t forget to write your comments and suggestions. We’ll be back soon for more updates.

Kind regards,

Editor.
