I would be interested to read about depression in the elderly. I care for both of my elderly parents and I find my mother sometimes quite negative due to her illnesses. I would love to be able to change her thinking to see the brighter side of life but I guess when you're in your 70's that doesn't seem possible. So some techniques to help her through her life would be very valuable not only for me but I'm sure for others as well.

Hi David,

Great ideas. We’ll include them in our topic list. We’ll also be constantly publishing abstracts with links to our Case Studies in the Library Page. You may find those useful for theoretical and practical reference.

Thank you,

Pedro Gondim.

I appreciate the articles that cover real examples of counselling in practice. Would like to see more of this including covering the various stages of counselling for example a case study looking at a review meeting months after actual counselling has finished. Also looking at trouble spots such as identifying when a counselling relationship is not being productive for the client.

More counselling practice and professional development real life examples would be great. This would help us beginners learn from others experience.

thanks for the great work so far.
